Mumbai’s Model gets Murdered, Stuffed in a Suitcase and Dumped in Malad

We managed to get details of the cab driver and with his help, managed to locate the building where Sayyed stays alone," said the cop, quoted TOI.

A 20-year old aspiring model hailing from Rajasthan, living in Andheri was killed by a friend over a fuss, stuffed in a suitcase and dumped in Malad. The incident, reportedly, took place in Mumbai’s Andheri West where the victim, Mansi Dixit, lived from past 6 months. Dixit made a friend over internet, Muzzammil Sayyed, who she reportedly met first at Sayyed’s house. The duo had a fuss on Monday when Sayyed threw a blunt object on Dixit and subsequently strangled her to death. The accused then stuffed her body in a suitcase with the help of ropes and bedsheet rolled over Dixit’s body.

Sayyed then took the suitcase in a cab and dumped it near Malad Mindspace near the mangroves shrubs. The Bangur Nagar police station received a call from a person tipping off about the dumping of the body. “2 policemen rushed to the spot and opened the traveller’s bag. Dixit’s face was strapped with strings and her body was wrapped in cushion, with a bedsheet rolled over,” narrated a cop present during the unearthing of the body, quoted TOI. It is reported that the DCP (Deputy Commissioner of Police) Zone XI, Sangramsinh Nishandar, formed teams to investigate and nab Sayyed. The police team checked the footage of the CCTV installed between Mindspace and Andheri West and nabbed the student accused Sayyed.

The police said that they will produce Sayyed in the court on Tuesday and then onwards the legal course of action will come in force.
