Mumbai: The Chinese Tech brand which is known for selling it’s smartphones and smartphone accessories is ready to extend it’s product offerings to Mi TVs in India this Wednesday. This will not be the first time that the company is launching a smart LED TV in India. Remind you of 55-inch Mi LED TV 4 with 4K technology that the company launched last month at a competitive price of INR 39,999 in India. The company is ready with the plan to woo the Indian TV consumers on March 7 with it’s two new models of Television i.e. 32-inch and 43-inch Mi TVs. The tech brand has already made it’s foothold strong in India in the smartphone category and now, they seem to be ready to make LED TVs affordable to the Indian consumers.
The two newbies are reported to be economical in price and will woo the mid range consumers. While the 32-inch Mi LED TV from company’s Mi LED TV 4A series is likely to be priced INR 12,999, the 43-inch Mi LED TV 4C has already appeared on Xiaomi’s website at INR 27,999. To imagine a smart LED TV at such an affordable price will make you wonder about the competition it will set for VU TVs and Micromax TVs in India. However, we still have to wait for the brand to officially announce the price to believe it.
The 43-inch Mi LED TV 4C sports a 43-inch Full HD panel which is smaller than it’s sibling, Mi LED TV 4, which is 55-inch large. It also doesn’t support HDR unlike the Mi LED TV 4 but features 1080p resolution. The screen comes with 178-degree wide viewing angle and 6.5ms as it’s response time. The TV runs PatchWall UI based Android 6.0 and is powered by a Quad-Core Cortex-A53 chipset clocked at up to 1.5GHz with Adreno Mali-450 MP3 GPU (Graphic Processing Unit). The TV features 1GB RAM and comes with 8GB internal storage capacity. On the connectivity front, the TV supports WiFi, 3 Ethernet and 2 USB 2.0 ports and, AV and S/PDIF ports.
Talking about the features of the 32-inch Mi LED TV, the TV offers similar features but is more compact in size compared to the Mi TV 4C. It will be interesting to watch for the two newbies to enter the Indian market and serve as an economical option to the Indian consumers.
