After this incidence many reactions came from across India for the Gaikwad’s outrageous deeds in the aircraft. Even member airlines of FIA (Federation of Indian Airlines) with two other private airline companies have imposed a No-Fly ban on Ravindra Gaikwad. FIA includes well-known airline companies like Indigo, Jet Airways, Spicejet and GoAir. Subsequently, Ravindra Gaikwad has become the first Indian to enter the ‘No-Fly Ban’ list of Indian Airlines.
In a joint statement from FIA and Air India, they said, “Air India and member airlines of the Federation of Indian Airlines (FIA) that includes Indigo, Jet Airways, SpiceJet and Go Air, condemn the assault on an Air India staff member by a passenger, who happens to be a Member of Parliament, on March 23, 2017,”
The Air India staff, Shiv Kumar, who had been assaulted by the MP, has filed an FIR against the unruly Ravindra Gaikwad and the Delhi Police has registered the FIR against the MP. Additionally, Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Mr. Jayant Sinha, has tweeted “Unruly behaviour and violence on our aviation network is regrettable. Each such incident will be investigated and appropriate action taken.”

But this is not the first time that 57-year-old Ravindra Gaikwad is in news for his negative controversies. In 2014, Ravindra allegedly tried to force feed Muslim caterer who was fasting in the month of Holy Ramzan over the quality of chapatis served at the Maharashtra Sadan in New Delhi.
Even there are various criminal charges registered against him such as voluntarily causing hurt to deter public servants from duty, criminal intimidation and rioting among others.
