Mumbai: Today’s tech enthusiasts are so keen and curious to know about the leaks and rumours about the tech upcomings that it has become a trend for every upcoming smartphones to first feature in the leak league. Such is a leak in our news on OnePlus 6, the upcoming flagship smartphone by BBK Electronics for the consumers. If a report is believed, OnePlus 6 may get released earlier than expected.
The new renders of the smartphone reveal the smartphone may be released in 3 color variants i.e. Blue, Black and White. There is no doubt that the smartphone would not be similar to any of the Oppo branded smartphone in design. The reason to believe so is the fact that the look of OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T were similar to Oppo R11 and Oppo R11s respectively. As per speculations, there is a possibility for the OnePlus’ new release to be similar to Oppo R15.
Talking about the look of the smartphone based on the leaks, the front of the phone may display a bigger screen with an iPhone X like Notch, earpiece and sensor. The bit of the bezel can also be seen at the front bottom. The back is said to be replaced from the metallic body to glass finish slightly curved at the edges. The cameras are located at the mid of the phone vertically aligned to each other. Underneath is expected the LED flash and a fingerprint scanner with brand logo underneath the fingerprint scanner.
As far as the key specifications leaked about the smartphone, OnePlus 6 is said to be powered by the faster processor in the form of Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset paired with as high as 8GB RAM. The inbuilt storage capacity of the smartphone is expected to be 256GB, expandable to higher storage capacity using a MicroSD card. Talking about the price of the smartphone, the predecessor OnePlus 5 was launched at INR 32,999, so OnePlus 6 may worth slightly higher than this price.
On the connectivity front, we may guess that the company may stock similar or upgraded versions of WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, USB Type C 2.0, NFC and 3.5mm Audio Jack in the upcoming release. The smartphone may be fueled by a better battery capacity than it’s predecessor which packed Li-Po 3,300mAh.
