Mumbai: Almost a month after the rumour about HTC Desire 12 surfaced online, the news extends to a new mid-range smartphone, HTC Desire 12 Plus, to be launched alongside the former. The specs leak by a source, suggests HTC Desire 12 Plus will be the enhanced version of HTC Desire 12 and will feature enhanced and bigger screen. The smartphone may dump the MediaTek SoC and replace it with Snapdragon 450 SoC paired with 3GB RAM. Let’s look at the specifications and features rumoured to come in the HTC’s upcoming smartphone
HTC Desire 12 Plus may sport 5.99-inch HD+ (1440×720) TFT screen with 18:9 aspect ratio and 269ppi pixel density. The smartphone is also reported to sport 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and an LED flash. The front camera may bear an 8-megapixel sensor with electronic image stabilization feature. The smartphone is said to be powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC clocked at up to 1.8GHz Cortex-A53 paired with a 3GB RAM.
The smartphone may feature 32GB Internal memory expandable to up to 400GB using a MicroSD card. On the connectivity front, the smartphone may feature Dual Nano 4G VoLTE SIM (Standby mode), WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/A-GPS, Micro-USB and 3.5mm Audio Jack. The smartphone may pack a 2965mAh non-removable battery with compatibility to Qualcomm Quick Charge technology.
