The national capital, Delhi, was astonished by the robbery bid by allegedly couple of juveniles who were later apprehended by the police after an encounter, one of whom is injured due to a bullet injury in the leg, media report suggested. The robbery bid took place in a silver jewelry shop in the South West Delhi’s Najafgarh area.
The shop owner, Rajesh, a 46-year old man, sustained a bullet injury on his face when the two accused attempted to commit the crime of robbery at the former’s shop, informed police. The senior official of police informed that the robbers looted around Rs. 25,000 – Rs. 30,000 from the cash box in the jewelry shop and when Rajesh tried encountering them, the accused shot at him which caused him injury to the right jaw of his face. The victim was rushed to the nearest hospital for the treatment.
The police was informed who immediately constituted a team of dozen cops to apprehend the accused who are reported to be minor. The accused were apprehended within 3 hours of commission of crime at the site.
