The Mumbai Police rushed to action after a half decomposed body of a man was recovered from Mumbai’s Sakinaka locality on Monday, July 18. The Sakinaka police informed that the team is after the wife of the deceased to trace the clue and motive behind the suspected murder of the deceased. The deceased is identified as 23-year old Naseem Khan who worked as a tailor in Sakinaka.
The police informed the media that the father of the deceased narrated the frequent quarrels between the deceased and his wife, Rubina Khan. The wife is on a run who the police is searching desperately to investigate the motive behind the suspected murder.
The father of the deceased called the police after a stench tattered out from the house where Naseem lived with Rubina. The couple were earlier living at Powai, however, later moved to a chawl in Sakinaka. The couple didn’t have a kid even after marriage, informed police.
The police are claiming to be investigating the matter from all angles but are primarily behind the wife as she seems to be the primary suspect.
The father of the deceased informed police that he had been trying to contact his son for two days. He stated that Rubina informed him that Naseem is sleeping due to sickness when the former called to enquire about Naseem one day before the incident. However, the phone seemed switched off thereafter, hence the father of the deceased knocked on the door of the house where Naseem lived with Rubina. Upon getting no response and smelling something fishy, he called the police when the half decomposed dead body of Naseem was recovered.
The police are waiting for the apprehension of Rubina in order to investigate the matter.
