A father-daughter duo from Indian Air Force (IAF) created a history by flying an IAF aircraft in the same formation on Thursday, May 30 at IAF Station, Bidar. The father, Air Commodore Sanjay Sharma, and his daughter, Flying Officer Ananya, flew in the same formation of Hawk-132 aircraft on May 30 which is considered as unprecedented. This had never happened in the past whereby a daughter and father flew in the same formation of an aircraft of IAF. It is noteworthy to mention that Flying Officer Ananya is presently undergoing required training in IAF to scale up to fly any superior fighter aircraft.
