BKU President slams Lathi-Charge Order by ‘Sarkari Talibani’ on Farmers in Haryana; Protests Continue

The leader of Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU), Rakesh Tikait, on Sunday, Aug 29, condemned the lathicharge on protesting farmers in Haryana’s Karnal on Saturday, Aug 28, and termed the Sub-divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Karnal, Ayush Sinha, as a commander of ‘Sarkari Talibani’. He said on Sunday while addressing a gathering in Nuh, Haryana that the administrative officers who ordered breaking heads of farmers must be deployed at Naxal-affected areas rather than at the farmers’ protesting site.

“The officers who speak about cracking farmers’ heads should be posted in Naxal-affected areas. That IAS officer (Karnal SDM Ayush Sinha) is commander of ‘Sarkari Talibani'” said Tikait on Sunday, quoted by ANI.
