An unexpected wave of positivity for Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) leadership has reached Shiv Sena’s leaders after the recently held meeting between Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his delegation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi. The Shiv Sena Member of Parliament (MP), Sanjay Raut, on Thursday, June 10, called Prime Minister Narendra Modi a true leader of BJP. He praised PM Modi’s leadership which has boosted BJP’s foothold in the country.
“I believe that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the top leader of the country and the Bharatiya Janata Party. No one can deny the fact that the success which the Bharatiya Janata Party has got in the last seven years is only because of PM Narendra Modi,” Raut was quoted as saying in an ANI report.

The Shiv Sena’s firebrand leader recalled the past elections in Maharashtra during the reign of Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Raut said that “during those times”, whenever elections happened in Maharashtra, Balasaheb Thackeray’s pictures in posters were put up everywhere as a mark of respect.
“Even during former BJP leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s tenure, when elections took place in Maharashtra, Balasaheb Thackeray’s pictures were used in posters for election campaigning as a mark of respect,” said Raut while recalling BJP and Shiv Sena’s past alliance. “The karyakartas of the sangathan work at the grassroots level on a daily basis” added Raut, quoted by ANI Report.
The oft-times bitter spewing mouth of Shiv Sena seemed soft towards PM Modi this time in the aftermath of the friendly concluded meeting between Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray and PM Modi on June 8. The Maha CM had expressed his satisfaction while briefing media in Maharashtra Sadan after the meeting with PM Modi.
Thackeray had said that PM Modi heard his concerns related to Maratha reservation issue, Metro carshed establishment in Kanjurmarg and other issues seriously. He hoped for positive decisions from the PM Modi led Central Government on the pending issues. Maha CM didn’t forget to thank PM Modi for his amicable gesture towards his concerns, cornering political differences.
