The OnePlus brand of BBK Electronics is likely launching its this year’s lineups like OnePlus 9 Pro, OnePlus 9 and the yet to be known third variant name. The third variant is speculated to be named either OnePlus 9E, OnePlus 9 Lite or OnePlus R. The launch is tentatively taking place this month, however, more concrete confirmation is yet awaited by the brand.
While the wait for the announcement is making us curious for the specs and features of the OnePlus 9 series smartphones, there is a leaked report by a Greek publication which has spilled the beans over the specs and features of OnePlus 9 Pro. The Greek publication, TechManiacs.gr, has shared few screenshots of the about section, allegedly, of the OnePlus 9 Pro which gives us a glance of the insights of the smartphone.
As per the screenshots, the smartphone will feature 8GB RAM and will run on Snapdragon 888 processor. It also reveals that the smartphone will sport a 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screenshot doesn’t give a hope for a memory expansion option with any external memory card as the option seems to be unavailable in the smartphone. The smartphone may run Android 11 out-of-box OS which is the pretty latest one.
On the optics front, the OnePlus 9 Pro may feature a quad camera option at the rear panel while a single lens camera for the selfie. The rear camera housing may include a primary 48-megapixel sensor with other sensors like 50-megapixel, 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. The details of the selfie camera is yet to be known or speculated as the leak doesn’t hint at the specifications of the front camera.
As per the screenshots, the OnePlus 9 Pro may sport 8K video recording option at 30-frames per second while a 4K recording at 120-frames per second. While we explored for more, however, the screenshots limited our search for more details. However, our quest for more details may succeed us in getting more details about the OnePlus 9 Pro and other lineups for this year’s launch. Till then, keep reading and updating yourself on our tech section.
