The LG brand unveiled a new smartphone for the Indian market on Friday in the name of LG K42. The smartphone has the highlight features like MIL-STD-810G military-grade certification, Large HD+ display, Quad-Core Camera setup at the rear and 4,000mAh battery.
The smartphone with a sole variant of 3GB RAM + 64GB Inbuilt Storage is priced INR 10,990. It is going to be available in Gray and Green color variants. The smartphone will debut on Flipkart on Jan 26.
The LG K42 sports a 6.6-inch HD+ FullVision Display with a punch-hole at the center top side of the screen. The screen features 1600×720 pixels resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. On optics front, the smartphone is equipped with quad core camera setup at the rear of the smartphone with primary lens as 13-megapixel sensor while secondary as 5-megapixel wide-angle sensor.
The third sensor comes in the form of a 2-megapixel depth sensor while the fourth one comes with a 2-megapixel macro sensor, coupled with a flashlight. For the selfie and video calling, the smartphone features an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front. The camera comes with features like Flash Jump Cut, Time Helper for time based automatic clicks and many more.
Under the hood, the smartphone runs on MediaTek Helio P22 chipset within the body. The smartphone features 3GB RAM and offers 64GB inbuilt storage capacity. The smartphone encompasses a large 4,000mAh battery.
On the connectivity front, the smartphone features dual 4G enabled SIM slots, WiFi 2.4GHz, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, Type-C port & 3.5mm Audio Jack.
