The blogger who allegedly leaked the live images of the smartphone, Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, could possibly end up in trouble as the company reportedly signed a Non-disclosure Agreement (NDA) with the blogger. The NDA, reportedly, had a clause to keep the details of the smartphone confidential, breach of which may lead to a compensation of USD 1 million. The blogger came to the spotlight after the details of the NDA signed between Xiaomi and the blogger came out in the news. The leak which revealed the design of the smartphone which made headlines for its attractive design and the specifications, is now in spotlight for the action that Xiaomi may initiate against the blogger.
The blogger identified on weibo with the username @beautiful科技 had allegedly leaked the live renders of the Mi 10 Ultra earlier on Tuesday, Aug 11. However, in a surprising twist in the story, the mother of the blogger took the responsibility of the bizarre misadventure and claimed it to have been committed mistakenly.
The news spread like a wild fire after the mother took onus of the mistake committed leading to the breach of the contract. The blogger’s mother claimed that while her son was off his computer seat, she mistakenly clicked on the share button while it was uploading, the images of the Mi 10 Ultra got shared with a group called QQ. Her son deleted the images from the group while it was too late by then.
The images were re-uploaded and went viral on social media. The blogger’s mother responded to this accidental leak and claimed that she had no clue about the mishap her accidental leak will result in as she didn’t know about the NDA agreement. The Chinese smartphone brand, Xiaomi, hasn’t responded officially to this alleged accidental leak, however, all eyes are on this news as the news is sensational in nature.
