Ram Mandir Shilanyaas: PM Modi addresses Nation, Kailash Vijayvargiya lambasts at MP Police for Misbehaviour with Ram Bhakts

The long wished dream of billions to see lord Rama in Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya finally came true on Wednesday, August 5 in presence of the nation’s beloved Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath. The celebratory occasion brought the whole nation before their television set to capture the holy Ram Mandir bhumi pujan in Ayodhya.

The event began after the protagonist of the event, PM Modi, reached Ram Janmabhoomi and made a prostration greeting to the adorable avatar of lord Rama at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya. The moment came when the Shilanyaas (foundation stone laying ceremony) began with chanting of mantras by the Pandita present there. The Shilanyaas ceremony also witnessed Uttar Pradesh’s Governor, Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, apart from PM Modi who could be seen leading the foundation stone laying ceremony.

The 52-inch chest bearing persona, PM Modi, then addressed the nation on the auspicious occasion and called the event in line with “Maryada” (discipline) that lord Rama is known for, while making a reference to social distancing maintained at the spot due to Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). PM Modi stated that the whole nation is immersed in the worship of Lord Rama to witness the grand foundation stone laying ceremony of holy Ram Mandir.

अंडमान से अजमेर तक, 
लक्षद्वीप से लेह तक,

The Prime Minister called the day as historic since the issue of Ram Mandir was pending for decades and several left the world in wishing to witness the day. PM Modi affirmed that Lord Ram’s Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will become the spot for tourists from across the world and create several opportunities for the people living in the vicinity.

The Rashtriya Swawamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief, Mohan Bhagwat, also addressed the nation while emphasizing on millions eyes would have soothed to see this auspicious day. “India has a vision to see itself in the world and in the world” said Bhagwat in his addressing to the nation from Ram Janmabhoomi.

The event observed utmost diligence to the social distancing guidelines due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The whole nation kept tweeting their views and made Twitter flood with messages for sacred Ram Mandir.

Amid the celebration mode, Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) National General Secretary, Kailash Vijayvargiya, brought the nation’s attention to BJP ruled Madhya Pradesh’s Khargone city where a police team was seen manhandling those who tried to celebrate the auspicious occasion by cracking firecrackers in a lane. The National General Secretary of BJP called out the Cabinet Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Narottam Mishra, who handles law department, to take cognizance of the state police who allegedly behaved like West Bengal’s police.

“Prime Minister Mr. @narendramodi ji has said today is a day of glory for the country. The foundation stone of the Ram temple was in Ayodhya! The whole country is celebrating. In such a situation, police action on youth celebrating festivities and happiness in Sarafa Bazar of Khargone is unfair.” read the tweet by Vijayvargiya on Wednesday, while he also attached a video clip showing the evidence of his claims. He then called out Dr. Narottam Mishra to take control of his state police’s misconduct. “Why is the Khargone Police behaving like Bengal Police! @drnarottammisra ji explain to your police about such misconduct!” read the tweet by Vijayvargiya.
