The next smartphone in line for a launch in India by the South Korean smartphone brand, Samsung, is the Samsung Galaxy M31s. The handset is a follow up version of the Galaxy M31 launched in February. The handset is lined up for a launch in India on Thursday, July 30. The handset has already made an appearance on Amazon India listing which reveals the handset’s specifications, however, few critical specifications are yet to be revealed on the site.
Samsung has officially, on the Amazon India page, revealed that the handset will feature a Super AMOLED F-HD+ display, 64-megapixel primary sensor while a 6,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging compatibility. It also revealed that the handset will feature a quad camera module at the rear panel of the handset. For selfies and video calling, the company has installed a punch-hole camera sensor which is in trend lately.
The MySmartPrice blog, however, has revealed the hidden specifications like the processor and display specifics citing the listing of the handset on Google Play Console. As per the report, the Galaxy M31s will come with 1,080×2,400pixels display and 420dpi pixel density.
As for the processor, the listing suggests that the handset will be powered by an octa-core Exynos 9611 SoC paired with a 6GB RAM. The octa-core processor comprises four Cortex A73 cores clocked at 2.3GHz and another four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.7GHz. The handset will run on Android 10 OS.
As for the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), the Google Play Console listing suggests that the handset will pack a Mali G72 GPU clocked at 1050MHz. No price details were unraveled in the Google Play Console listing.
