The USA search engine giant, Google, has news for all those who love it’s smart speaker collections under the flagship Google Home. The American tech giant has already launched smart speakers like Google Home Max, Google Home Mini and the Google Nest Mini i.e. Google Home Mini 2. The Google Home family is going to welcome a new smart product likely to be named under Nest moniker.
The news broke after Japanese Wireless Standards website published some of the image renders of the upcoming Google Nest smart speaker. The image renders show the alleged Google Nest smart speaker in various positions. One showing the smart speaker laying on the floor while one of the images, interestingly, shows the speaker standing upright on one side, most likely, the bottom side.
Talking about the design of the smart speaker, the device is wrapped by a chalk colored fabric like in the case of the earlier launched smart speakers. At the top lies the mute button while at close to the bottom is the Google ‘G’ logo. To the bottom right corner lies the hole for a power adapter.
The image renders also show that the packaged box will include the 30W fast charging compatible charger with a barrel mouth plug dumping the USB Type-C connector. The smart speaker also comes with the option to connect via Bluetooth and Wi-fi. The “Interactive Media Streaming device” as it is referred to in the leaked documentation, measures 220mm in length.
There unfolded no more details about the device, not even the launch date. However, taking into consideration no launch of a smart speaker by Google in the near past, it is likely that the search engine giant may be aiming at launching the device sometime soon. There is also no revelation about the price of the device, however, it might be somewhere higher than the Nest Mini.
