The Chinese smart wearable maker, Huami, is reportedly working on a new gadget called Amazfit Band 5. The smartband which has got approved and certified by FCC, where a few specifications of the device are revealed. The FCC listing included the image of the packaging, which revealed the specs and features of the smartband.

The Amazfit Band 5 surfaced on FCC listing under the model name A1931 which can connect to any devices running on Android 5.0 and above using Bluetooth 5.0 BLE. The smartband can also connect to iOS 10.0 and above using the same Bluetooth connectivity. The smartband will come packed with 125mAh battery inbuilt.
The Amazfit Band 5 will sport an AMOLED display, and will be water-resistant upto the level of 5ATM. The device will be equipped with continuous heart rate monitoring, multisport modes and GPS connectivity. With regards to the design, the image render of the packaging didn’t reveal the design of the band. However, considering the Chinese smart wearable maker is the primary provider of the wearable wrist bands to Xiaomi, the Amazfit Band 5 design may resemble to that of the latest Mi Smart Band 5.

With regards to the content in the packaged box, it would contain the smartband as well as the charger. No details of launch date or prospective market have surfaced in the FCC listing. However, as per speculations, Huami wouldn’t launch its smartband where Xiaomi will launch its Mi Smart Band 5, considering the only difference is the name.
