The Chinese electronic brand, OnePlus, announced its U and Y series TVs in India, on Thursday, July 2. The subsidiary brand of BBK Electronics, named the U-series TV as OnePlus TV 55UI while the Y-series TVs as OnePlus TV 43Y1 and OnePlus TV 32Y1. The OnePlus TV 55UI is set at a price of INR 49,999 while the OnePlus TV 43Y1 will come with a price tag of INR 22,999, and the OnePlus TV 32Y1 will be sold at a price point of INR 12,999.

The three TVs under the U and Y-series of the OnePlus brand are planned to go for sale on Sunday, July 5 on Amazon India. On the software front, the U-series TV and the Y-series TVs are powered by Android TV 9.0 out-of-box.

Talking about the features and specifications of the three TVs, the Chinese brand has planned to leverage the software experience that is pertinent to the Q-series TVs that starts at INR 69,990. The most expensive of the three, the OnePlus TV 55UI will sport a 55-inch 4K UHD display with screen resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. It is embodied in a metallic frame with thickness as less as 6.9 millimeters with very slim bezels around.

The OnePlus TV 43Y1 comes with a 43-inch display and comes with 1920x1080px resolution, while the OnePlus TV 32Y1 sports a 32-inch display with 1366x768px resolution. Three of the TVs have 93% DCI-P3 color gamut and gamma engine for real-time picture quality optimization. The Y-series TVs come with 20W Dolby speakers, while the U-series TV comes with 30W down-firing 2.0 channel speakers with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Audio.
In terms of connectivity, the OnePlus TV 55UI features 3 HDMI ports (HDMI 1 supports ARC), an AV input port (composite), 1 USB 2.0 port and dual USB 3.0 ports, 1 ethernet port and 1 optical audio output port. The Y-series TVs have 2 HDMi ports (HDMI 1 supports ARC) and 2 USB ports, the rest like ethernet and optical audio output ports remain similar to the U-series TV.
