As the launch of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G inches closer to its date, more information about the launch has started increasing the excitement among the Samsung fans. A latest report states that the smartphone with flip design has appeared on benchmarking site, GeekBench, under the codename SM-707B. The GeekBench listing revealed few important details of the dual display smartphone by the South Korean tech giant.

The GeekBench listing revealed that the 5G model of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. The chipset is codenamed as “Kona” in the GeekBench listing. The listing also revealed the RAM capacity, which is reported to be similar to that of Galaxy Z Flip 4G.
As for the specs of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4G, which was launched on February 26, it comes with a dual rear camera sensor, 256GB storage and 3,300mAh battery. The 4G model also comes with 8GB RAM but Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC instead of Snapdragon 865 as in the case of the 5G model.

In all possibilities, the handset may be launched on August 5 alongside other Samsung handsets. The other handsets that are most likely to launch alongside Galaxy Z Flip 5G include Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 and Galaxy Note 20. As per a previous leak, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G may be launched in Black, Copper and White color options.
The price of the handset is yet unknown, however, looking at the price of the 4G model of Galaxy Z Flip, the handset may be launched with an upgrade in it’s price.
