The Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal, is engirdled by opposition leadership as well as the Delhiites as his government seems failing to control over the modus operandi of hospitals in Delhi. Multiple self shot videos have surfaced on social media raising doubts over Kejriwal’s claims of beds available for Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) suspected/infected patients.
A video tweeted by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson, Shalabh Mani Tripathi, on Saturday, June 6, showed an aggrieved and distressed man in Delhi weeping and screaming before hospital staff to admit his father allegedly infected by COVID-19. The video shows CM Arvind Kejriwal’s banner on one of the walls of the hospital where the aggrieved man is seen pleading for help.
The video seems to have been shot by an onlooker who is heard refusing from stopping to shoot the incident when asked by the hospital staff. The video also shows the patient’s wife screaming to allow admission to her husband who is seen to be on the stretcher inside an ambulance standing at the gate of the hospital. The BJP spokesperson shared the video making a tirade attack on CM Kejriwal for his alleged hollow claims.
“The son who is yearning for a bed in the hospital to save his father, who is dying, the wife pleading to save her husband in the fear of losing her husband in front of her own eyes, amidst all this, hanging on the wall of the hospital the photo of smiling emperor of the province, poor Delhi,” read the tweet by BJP leader, Tripathi, written in Hindi roughly translated in English.
pic.twitter.com/EH0rZ0pPFI

The Congress party supporters also backlashed at Kejriwal led government in mismanaging the unprecedented pandemic in the country. Taking to his Twitter handle, a Congress party supporter, Niraj Bhatia, went witty at those who supported Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and who thought “there is no alternative to AAP”.
“For all those who said “There is no alternative to AAP in Delhi” ..Also for all those who want AAP model in Bihar .. #AAPseNaHopayega,” tweeted Bhatia admonishing the AAP government’s mismanagement in the national capital. His tweet also had a video attached showing a guy uncovering the alleged false claims of Delhi government in managing the situation efficiently.

Several tweets admonished the Kejriwal government for the ill-treatment with the COVID-19 patients by the hospitals in the national capital. We leave you with such some tweets which the AAP led Delhi government must take cognizance of.

Meanwhile, CM Kejriwal shared his government’s order mandating to provide bed to the COVID-19 suspects or confirmed patients.
“In exercise of powers conferred by the Delhi Epidemic Diseases, COVID-19, Regulations, 2020 under the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897, it is hereby ordered that MS/MD/Director of all hospitals operating in Delhi including hospitals run by Delhi Government, Government of India and Urban Local Bodies of Delhi, Army and Private Sector are directed to ensure that no patient who is having COVID-19 symptoms and is in moderate and severe category be denied admission on the pretext that patient is not having COVID-19 positive report,” read the order from Delhi government attached by CM Kejriwal in his tweet on Saturday, June 6.
