OnePlus Z design Leaked; Image Render unveils Front Design

The brand had launched the first affordable model in the form of OnePlus X in 2015. Since then, the brand has been focusing at unveiling premium models only. It's been an year since the news of OnePlus venturing into the affordable segment of the smartphone market has been surfacing online.

The subsidiary brand, OnePlus, of BBK Electronics is working on the “cheaper” models of OnePlus brand, in order to make the ecosystem better for the brand. The brand had launched the first affordable model in the form of OnePlus X in 2015. Since then, the brand has been focusing at unveiling premium models only. It’s been an year since the news of OnePlus venturing into the affordable segment of the smartphone market has been surfacing online. This is where we have something about OnePlus Z.

One of the products of this affordable segment is the OnePlus Z which is yet to be confirmed by the company. However, the CEO of OnePlus, Pete Lau, has already hinted at launching the first product of the affordable segment in India. This initiative, reportedly, includes OnePlus Z as well.

Though the design of OnePlus Z is already leaked in a previous report, a new leak has surfaced online reaffirming the design. The leaked render has surfaced in the form of a tempered glass screen protector designed for the OnePlus Z smartphone. As per the leaked render, the front panel encloses a large curved-edge display with a punch-hole camera at the top-central part of the display. This confirms that the smartphone will sport a single lens camera at the front.

The leaked render also shows very less bezel at all corners, except, at the smartphone’s chin. The bezel density is thicker at the chin of the smartphone than at any edge of the screen. With regards to the placement of the volume rockers and the power button, it isn’t clear which side the volume rockers are placed, though it looks to be on the right side while the power button on the left hand side.

The earpiece, seemingly, locates at the top while the Type-C USB port at the bottom. The price and availability are still under the cover considering the product is under construction mode.
