The ‘support of 1000 buses’ theory of Congress party seems to have not gone well among it’s own party workers. Aditi Singh, Congress party’s Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Uttar Pradesh’s Rae Bareli, courageously questioned her own party’s leadership for the “low politics at the time of disaster”. In her tweets on Wednesday, May 20, in Hindi, Singh exhaled her frustration against her party leadership for the “cruel joke” during the ongoing Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) disaster.
“What is the need of such low politics at the time of disaster, they (Priyanka Gandhi Office) gave a list of 1000, in this too, the fraud is that more than half of the registration numbers of the buses are fake, 297 are junk buses, 98 are auto-rickshaws and vehicles like ambulances and 68 vehicles are without papers.” wrote, seemingly anguished, Singh in her tweet against her own party’s modus operandi during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“What a cruel joke, if there were buses then why did you not send them to Rajasthan, Punjab and Maharashtra,” Singh asked fiery and direct questions to her party leadership in her tweets. She didn’t stop at this, she further praised Uttar Pradesh’s chief minister, Yogi Adityanath, for his initiative to bring back safe the stranded students of Kota back to Uttar Pradesh.
“Where were these fictional buses when thousands of students of Kota were stranded in Uttar Pradesh, Congress government didn’t even consider ferrying them to the border, forget about ferrying them till their homes, Yogi Adityanath, overnight, pressed into service multiple buses to bring back the stranded students back to their home, even Rajasthan Chief Minister praised it,” wrote Congress party MLA on her Twitter handle on Wednesday, May 20.

As per a Source, the party has suspended Singh from the General Secretary position of the party’s women wing following her unruly tweet against the party. A report, citing a source, claimed that Singh has also left all the party’s WhatsApp groups.
There is, reportedly, a complaint pending against the seemingly rebellious MLA, Aditi Singh, before the Uttar Pradesh’s Assembly Speaker. The Congress party has also urged for revocation of Singh’s MLA status. This is, reportedly, following her meeting with UP CM Yogi Adityanath. She is also allegedly been under the scanner after she attended an assembly session which was against the party’s will.
