The Lenovo owned Motorola may launch the Moto Edge+ in India soon, a tweet from Motorola’s Country Head, Prashant Mani, confirmed on Saturday, April 25. Taking to twitter, Prashant wrote, “The all-new Motorola edge+ is reinvigorating the flagship space with a Bold endless edge screen innovation,Fastest 5G performances with Snapdragon 865 and a monster 108 mpx camera .Here is a sneak peek into what went behind creating the #AbsoluteEverything. With this tweet from the Company’s Country Head, the eyes are at Motorola to announce the official date of launch of this product in India. As per speculations, the smartphone may be launched in the country in May or June. The Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has anyway disturbed the tech industry, which has halted the delivery of smartphones to its fans.
The lockdown in India may end next month, and hence, believing Prashant regarding the launch of Edge+ is a good bet. However, the idea of launch may get spoiled with the extension of the lockdown due to COVID-19 effect in the country.

The Motorola launched the Moto Edge series smartphones viz; Moto Edge and Moto Edge+ (Edge Plus) a few days ago.
The Moto Edge+ is the top end flagship variant of the Edge series and comes with highlight features like Snapdragon 865 processor, 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 108-megapixel triple camera setup at the rear panel, 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The smartphone also has a punch-hole at the front of the handset with 25-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.
The Moto’s flagship smartphone comes with a price tag of USD 1,000 (approx. INR 76,000) while the global variant may come with the price tag of EUR 1,199 (approx. INR 98,715).
