The Microsoft Surface Go 2 may be launched in few weeks from now, reported a tech site, MSPowerUser. The site revealed that Redmond, Washington headquartered tech giant will be unveiling the flagship tablet-cum-mini laptop in few weeks from now. The site also claimed the high possibility of the tablet being launched by the starting week of next month.
The Surface Go 2 is the successor of the Surface Go which was launched in July 2018. The company skipped the launch of Surface Go successor last year but it has decided to abstain from giving this year’s launch a miss. This year’s launch may not happen in July but by the starting week of next month.
The news may not be believed as the Corona Virus pandemic across the world has made any gathering or movement almost impossible. Even if Microsoft plans to launch the product online, the delivery may not be possible in the next few months to come.
As for the specifications of Surface Go 2, an off late benchmark report revealed the tablet will be powered by the dual core 8th generation Intel Core m3-8100y. Notably, the Surface Go was powered by the Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y processor. Hence, any major upgrade in the processor performance is still a foggy point to believe at.
As per the report, the Surface Go 2 will also be available in the LTE variant which will be priced around $650. The starting price of the entry level variant will be around $399.
