The most followed politician and personality on the social media, on Monday, March 2, announced that he is contemplating over giving up social media this weekends. The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, shocked millions by his idea to cease his account on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. He tweeted this message for the whole world and took the social media to tears.

“This Sunday, thinking of giving up my social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube. Will keep you all posted.” read the tweet from the supreme authority of the Central Government, on Monday.

Minutes after his tweet, the followers flooded the social media with #NoSir trying to appeal to PM Modi to quit his idea of distancing from social media. Though it is not discovered what instigated PM Modi’s this bold step. Twitterities kept wondering what made one of the most powerful leaders of the world think about choosing this step.
