Vivo’s next presentation in the smartphone segment is the Vivo Z6 5G, launching on Friday, Feb 29, which is reported to sport a quad camera module at the back. According to the company’s latest revelation, the Vivo Z6 5G will sport a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 along with a wide angle secondary sensor. These apart, there will be a third camera sensor with macro lens and the fourth will be a depth of field sensor.
The subsidiary brand of BBK Electronics, Vivo, released these camera insights through the Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo. The image shows the placement of a quad lens camera module aligned vertically, at the rear panel flanking an LED flash inside the camera housing.
In the teaser released on the company’s Weibo account, the camera setup is shown to be arranged in an L-shaped pattern. This L-shaped pattern is housed at the top left corner of the back panel of the smartphone. The top most sensor is a 112-degree field-of-view lens, followed by the main primary 48-megapixel primary sensor just below the top most sensor. The primary sensor is then followed by a depth sensor for the portrait mode photography. The fourth sensor is placed just beside the third depth sensor to make it appear in an L-shaped pattern, and is a 4cm macro lens.
Another teaser shows the placement of a punch-hole enclosing the front camera for the selfies and video calls. The punch-hole appears to be at the top right corner of the display. The display will sport a 20:9 aspect ratio and 90.74% screen-to-body ratio. The other features and specifications remained absent in the latest teaser from the company. However, earlier TENAA listing showed the smartphone with 6.57-inch display.
As per the earlier teaser released by the company, Vivo Z6 5G will be powered by Snapdragon 765G processor. It is slated to pack a giant 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging. It also showed a ‘professional gaming mode’ for the game freaks which will boost the gaming experience.
