
The Delhi police force along with the other investigation agencies have started to investigate the off-late violence incidents of North East Delhi that shook the nation drastically. The investigation agencies have started connecting the dots to nab the miscreants who turned the north east Delhi into a riot affected region.

In the latest development, the Delhi police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councillor, Tahir Hussain. Tahir Hussain has been accused of killing and murdering the Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer, Ankit Sharma. Ankit Sharma’s body, which has been reported to show around 400 stabbing marks, was recovered from the North East Delhi’s Chand Bagh area. The family of the IB officer is in rage and wants action against the AAP councillor who allegedly killed Sharma during the adverse violence in the north east Delhi.
The FIR got registered at the Dayalpur police station on the allegations put by the deceased IB officer’s father, Ravinder Kumar. Kumar alleged that his son was murdered by the AAP councillor when he was returning home after his duty. He said that he was attacked by the people on the rooftop of Tahir’s building and subsequently he was killed.

Tahir Hussain has been booked under Section 302 (punishment for murder), Section 201 (disappearance of evidence) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). In the aftermath of the accusations put on it’s party councillor, AAP revoked Hussain’s primary membership and cut corners with Hussain. The Delhi police acted firmly against the IB officer’s murder accused and sealed his factory at North East Delhi’s Khajoori Khas area.

Hussain has refuted the allegations on him and claimed that he wasn’t present in his building on the day of incident. Though TV reports show clips that shows Tahir Hussain present at the rooftop of the building where people gathered to attack the people on the ground with petrol bombs, stones, bricks, acid package, etc.

Several TV reporters have reported from Tahir’s building showing the reservoir of these bricks, acid packages, stones, petrol bombs, etc. The Delhi violence will now be investigated by two Special Investigation Teams (SITs) headed by the Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) Joy Tirkey and Rajesh Deo. The death toll has been reported to be 42 while more than 200 are reported to be injured in the violence.
