MNS Mahamorcha: Raj Thackeray shows Power of ‘Saffron’ over Pakistani & Bangladeshi Infiltrators

The security has been heightened along the route MNS has planned to move through, with deployment of additional police force to combat any untoward incidents. As per PTI, around 600 police personnel, along with Bomb Detection & Disposal Squad, Riot Control Teams, Quick Response Teams (QRTs) and State Reserve Police will ensure the security throughout the route chosen for the march.

The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has organized it’s ‘mahamorcha (grand gathering)’ at Mumbai’s Azad Maidan on Saturday, February 9, as indicated by the party chief, Raj Thackeray, in January. The Mahamorcha is to begin from Hindu Gymkhana, routing through Marine Drive and finally gathering at Azad Maidan.

The gathering will then be addressed by the party supremo & the nephew of Hinduhriday Samrat (Emperor of Hindu Hearts) Balasaheb Thackeray, Raj Thackeray. Thousands of MNS workers and leaders are said to participate in the mega show of the saffron turned party, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena. The Maharashtra Guardian Minister, Aslam Shaikh, has apprehended law and order situation while the MNS marches through the Muslim dominated areas. “March through Muslim dominated areas could lead to a law and order situation,” said cabinet minister Shaikh, quoted Times Now News.

“Apart from local police, personnel of the State Reserve Police Force (SRPF), Riot Control Police, Quick Response Teams (QRTs), Bomb Detection & Disposal Sqauds (BDDS) and additional 600 police personnel will be deployed on the morcha route,” said a Mumbai police spokesperson, quoted PTI. “Besides, CCTVs and Drones will be used for monitoring the crowd,” quoted the same police spokesperson.

He said that anyone from anywhere come and infiltrate into India. He further stated that unemployment and other are essential questions, but infiltration by outsiders into our country is also an essential question.

Thackeray, while sniping at Muslims protesting against Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA), 2019, asked them who are they showing their “strength” to, by the whole protesting episode across the country. He said that the CAA is not against the Indian Muslims, then what is compelling them to agitate on streets. “I don’t understand why the Muslims who were protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act, were doing so. CAA is not for the Muslims who were born here. To whom are you showing your strength?,” roared Raj Thackeray while admonishing the protesting Muslims.
