Apple to Close Down all it’s Business in Mainland China through February 9

China is going through a dangerous situation across China after the outbreak of a strange virus belonging to the CoronaVirus species in China's Wuhan where the epidemic originated. The virus has already taken lives of 304 so far and the figures are reported to rise more.

China sees a major hit to its economic development at the backdrop of the emerging threat of CoronaVirus hitting the existence of human life in it’s territory. The Chinese smartphone giant, Xiaomi, had earlier announced to closed down all it’s offline stores across China till the situation doesn’t resume to normal. Xiaomi had said in it’s press release that the company has taken this decision due to the epidemic situation in the country due to the CoronaVirus.

Following the same footsteps, the American tech giant, Apple, has also decided to shut all it’s work and business through February 9. As per a report, the 42 stores across Mainland China will be closed at the backdrop of the growing hazards of the CoronaVirus. In it’s statement, Apple has said that it’s buyers can still have the option to purchase it’s products via online mode.

“Out of an abundance of caution and based on the latest advice from leading health experts, we’re closing all our corporate offices, stores and contact centers in Mainland China through February 9,” Apple was quoted as saying by CNN Busines.

The virus has been reported to have affected the lives of around 14,380 worldwide and several countries have released advisory for it’s citizens to abstain from travelling to China during this period.

This has led to affect the business across the country, wherein, the tech industry is still immune from any major effects. The situation, however, is said to deteriorate if the virus continues to engulf more people in it’s flame throughout February & March.
