An unidentified man has been reported to have brandished a pistol at the protesters of the anti-CAA (Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019) campaign in Delhi. The video of this unidentified man shouting “Kisko chahiye aazadi? Main dunga aazadi (who wants freedom? I’ll give you freedom)” while brandishing his pistol has gone viral.

The man has been reportedly taken into custody by the police present at the spot. The video shows the man approached by the protesters and got overpowered by the crowd. The police, however, intervened and has taken him away from the spot. The police is carrying out investigation to reveal the cause. One has been injured in the whole incident, purpotedly a student.
The incident took place at Shaheen Bagh in Delhi where a flock of protesters are demonstrating their agitation against the recently enacted CAA. A recent reporting by the Editor-in-chief of Zee News, Sudhir Chaudhary, showed how the whole Shaheen Bagh has been hijacked by the protesters, disallowing him and Consulting Editor of News Nation, Deepak Chaurasia who had joined hands with Sudhir Chaudhary in the initiative to report from Shaheen Bagh.
The news reporting showed how Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh has been allegedly turned into ‘Dilli ka Kashmir’.
