The dual display foldable smartphone, Surface Duo, by Microsoft is no surprise to us anymore. The smartphone had come in the news on October 2 when it was unveiled in an event in New York. The Microsoft invented Surface Duo featured this time around, in the hands of it’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Satya Nadella.

The news broke after the Editor-at-Large of Yahoo Finance, Brian Sozzi, tweeted his image with Microsoft CEO where Satya Nadella could be seen holding a dual display foldable smartphone claimed to be the Surface Duo of Microsoft. The sleek body of the Surface Duo was brought in attention by Brian Sozzi through his twitter handle on January 12, Sunday.
The Editor-at-Large of Yahoo Finance wrote on his twitter handle about the upcoming Surface Duo tagging Satya Nadella in the tweet. “Microsoft CEO @satyanadella pulls out the new foldable Surface and I get mesmerized. Darn slick device! @YahooFinance,” tweeted Brian Sozzi.

To recall, the dual display smartphone has a setup of two “paper thin” 5.6-inch large displays joined vertically with the help of a hinge which can fold and unfold like a book. The same book styled dual display smartphone is said to have been held by Satya Nadella in the image shared by Brian through his tweet.
Surface Duo is the company’s first dual display smartphone, in competition with Samsung’s Galaxy Fold and Huawei’s Mate X. The smartphone is scheduled for a launch by the late 2020.
