The year 2019 is near to an end, however, the emerging information about the upcoming Huawei P40 Pro isn’t settling down soon. The phone is scheduled for a launch in March 2020 along with it’s standard version Huawei P40. Some interesting information about the P40 Pro have already started making rounds. The latest to come about the P40 Pro is from the analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, at the TF International Securities. As per Kuo, the Huawei P40 Pro will feature 10X optical zoom for it’s camera.
The well known analyst told Huawei Central and MacRumours that the company will accomplish it’s plan by integrating a redesigned periscope telephoto lens coupled with the 10x optical zoom lens to achieve the 10x optical zoom. He also said that the camera will also include two-mirror to achieve it’s 10x optical zoom requirement. This will be an unprecedented feature in Huawei’s phone. However, Kuo emphasized that Huawei P40 Pro will not be the only phone in 2020 to enclose this feature.
The camera of the Huawei P40 Pro will bear an 8-megapixel resigned periscope telephoto lens with the aperture as high as f/4.0. So, the 10x optical zoom feature of the camera will be achieved in the Huawei P40 Pro with the mechanism of mirror and prism structures inside the camera. To recall, the predecessor Huawei P30 Pro has a 5x optical zoom capability.
When asked about the price of the handset, Kuo shared that it could possibly be priced between CNY 4000 – 5000 (approx. INR 40,500 – INR 50,700). Other than this, the handset is said to bear a 5-lens rear camera and punch-hole for the selfies. Since, the Huawei hasn’t officially informed anything about the Huawei P40 Pro, it is recommended to wait for some more days for Huawei to officially announce something related to the Huawei P40 launch.
