The successor to the Huawei Nova 5, called the Huawei Nova 6 5G is on its way to the market with some tweaking features and specifications. As per a latest leak by Evan Blass, the phone will be introduced in the market in red color variant. The red color variant is, as per the leak, called the Sunset Red. The image render is reportedly the press render that the company is planning to introduce to the market. The image shared by Blass shows the presence of a punch-hole at the top-left corner of the display. The design looks similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S10+, except the placement of the punch-hole to the right in the latter.
The punch-hole is reportedly going to enclose dual lens camera, like in the case of the Galaxy S10+. The handset is also likely to show the fingerprint scanner on the right side of the smartphone. This will definitely make the unlocking of the phone easier than in the case of the in-display or the rear mounted fingerprint scanner. Talking about it’s predecessor, Huawei Nova 5, it features an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Nova 5 has an AMOLED display, whereas, as per the leak, the Nova 6 5G will have an LCD display. There is a triple lens camera module at the rear of the handset. The insights of the camera module is yet to be found. However, the presence of the laser focus system can’t be ruled out as seen in the Nova 5 model.
As for the processor, the Nova 6 5G, as the name suggests, will feature a 5G connectivity and the company only has the Kirin 990 5G in it’s owned processor lineups. So, speculations are that if Huawei chooses to power the Nova 6 5G with its owned processor then Kirin 990 5G, in all possibilities, may feature in the Nova 6 5G.
