The American giant, Google, unveiled its annual lined up smartphones, Pixel 4 & Pixel 4 XL, at an event on Tuesday. The highlight features of the smartphones remained the motion sensor to ease some of the actions, Snapdragon 855 SoC, 6GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage. The price of the Google Pixel 4 is set at $799 (approx. INR 57,000) and Google Pixel 4 XL at $899 (approx. INR 64,000) for the sole variant with 6GB RAM + 64GB inbuilt memory. While the pre-orders have already started, the shipping of both the handsets will begin from October 24. Let’s look at their features & specifications of the handsets
The Google Pixel 4 sports a 5.7-inch FHD+ OLED display while it is 6.3-inch QHD+ OLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. On the optics front, both the handsets feature dual lens camera at the back with 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 12-megapixel secondary camera sensor with f/1.7 aperture. At the front, both the smartphones feature an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor with 30fps.
Both the handsets run on Android 10 based OS. They both are powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, coupled with 6GB RAM. As for the internal storage, the smartphones offer 64GB and 128GB internal storage capacity without the option of memory extension.
The Pixel 4 pack a 2,800mAh non-removable battery while a 3,700mAh battery in the Pixel 4 XL with 18W fast charging compatibility. On the connectivity front, Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL offer Nano SIM slot + an option of an eSIM for the dual SIM option. The other options include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, NFC, Type C USB, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS and 3.5mm audio jack.
