The South Korean tech giant, Samsung, has finally pulled off the wraps from it’s flagship foldable smartphone, Samsung Galaxy Fold, in India. The smartphone initially got launched in February, attracted criticism for the design flaws and performance. We wonder if the Indian consumers will spend the price it holds to experience this criticised handset until Samsung assures completely to the ‘risk takers’. Though the company had gone back to the device to improve on the flaws and bring back the handset with ‘claimed’ improved version.
The highlight features of the newly launched handset is the ability to convert into a tablet with dual AMOLED display, a total of 6 camera lens and powered by an Octa-Core processor and 4,380mAh battery.
The Galaxy Fold is priced Rs. 1,64,999 for the sole variant with 12GB RAM + 512GB inbuilt storage capacity. The color variant limits to only Cosmos Black color option and the pre-order will begin from October 4. The handset will be available online through Samsung eShop and Samsung offline outlets. The handset’s delivery is scheduled to begin from October 20. The company has bundled the sale of the handset with it’s Premiere Service which offers one time screen replacement, 1-year accidental damage protection and special one-on-one assistance.
