The BBK Electronics subsidiary, Vivo, is in news for launching the revolutionary smartphones, Vivo Nex 3 & Vivo Nex 3 5G, later this month in China. The two handsets do not differ in their specifications except the 5G compatibility in the latter and it’s absence in the former. The handsets are called revolutionary smartphones because they are said to sport some of the unprecedented specifications. These unprecedented specifications include waterfall-notch design and dual camera setup in the pop-up camera. The waterfall-notch is nothing but the curved edges that looks more or less resembling to the Samsung Galaxy S-edge smartphone display.

Vivo is also in the news to pack a wider pop-up slider from the middle of the top edge of the smartphone. This wideness is larger than the ones available in the current offerings by the company as well as the rivals. This makes our speculations high that the company may be planning to place a dual lens camera setup within the limit of the pop-up camera. The dual lens camera at the front will mean more advanced selfie photography which may include Bokeh Effect & Portrait Mode selfies also.
At the rear panel, the company is speculated to sport a triple lens camera setup in the circular housing with a placement of single or dual LED flash. The circular housing is the same which we discussed about the OnePlus 7T. Few reports claim the similar triple lens camera setup will feature in Huawei Mate 30 Pro also. Notably, even iPhone XI is said to feature a similar pattern of rear triple lens camera, except the fact that it will have a square cutout rather than the circular one.

As for the latest leak, the Vivo Nex 3 and Vivo Nex 3 5G may sport a 6.89-inch display with Waterfall-notch design. The Nex 3 may run with an Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 Plus processor under the hood, while the Nex 3 5G may be powered by a Snapdragon X50 chipset. The chipset in the latter is said to offer 5G connectivity. As for the RAM, reports claim that both the smartphones will offer 8GB RAM and 12GB RAM. While the internal storage capacity may vary between 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage capacity. The battery it may pack will offer 4,500mAh power. It is said to embody Type C USB connectivity and retain the 3.5mm audio jack.
