The Chinese smartphone brand, Huawei, has, though, delayed the launch of it’s first foldable smartphone, the company is seen updating the information about the smartphone on the Chinese telecom regularity authority, TENAA. A recent update to the listing of the Huawei Mate X foldable smartphone has brought a wave of excitement among it’s fans. The new listing shows the smartphone’s photos as well as updates to the components of the smartphone.

The Chinese foldable smartphone was earlier scheduled for a launch in China in the month of June this year. However, the launch was postponed for September and now it is speculated to be launched between September and November. It is said that the smartphone may debut in China next month, and globally in November. Talking about the new listing, the weight of the device has been updated to 300g from 287g as seen in the listing last month.
Talking about the photos, the photos which appeared alongside the listing lacked any accurate details. However, one could see that the power button is flat & wide along with an indication mark. The dimensions of the smartphone have been reportedly kept intact in the new listing.

As per the information available about the specifications of the Huawei Mate X foldable smartphone, it is said to sport an 8-inch OLED display at the inner side. There is no information available about the secondary/outer display. The handset may be powered by Kirin 980 processor coupled with Balong 5000 5G modem and 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM. The internal memory is said to vary between 128GB/256GB/512GB inbuilt memory.
On the optics front, Huawei Mate X foldable smartphone may sport a quad lens camera at the rear. It is said that the camera department will house Leica lens with 40-megapixel primary sensor, 16-megapixel secondary sensor, 8-megapixel tertiary sensor and a ToF sensor as the fourth one. It is also said to pack a 4,500mAh battery with support to 55W fast charging. The same charger is said to be included in the box.
