The Chinese smartphone brand, Realme, has set the date as August 20 for the launch of it’s upcoming smartphone, Realme 5 Pro. Alongside the Realme 5 Pro, the brand is also planning to launch the Realme 5 on August 20 in India. Releasing the teaser just a week ahead of the launch date, Realme hinted at the highlights of the smartphone’s camera department. The smartphone is attracting every eye for it’s quad camera placement at the rear of the handset.
The teaser shows how the company has planned launching Realme 5 Pro with vertically aligned quad lens camera module leaving behind the triple lens module. The quad camera module consists of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an ultra-wide secondary sensor with 119 degree field-of-view with 1.5x more zooming. The camera module also comprises a Super Macro tertiary lens with a 4cm final length to take close up shots of any object.
The quad camera module also has a fourth camera for the portrait clicks. There is no revelation about the selfie camera details from the company. Speculations are high for an AI-powered selfie snapper in the handset.
The earlier details which were leaked by a source revealed that the smartphone may have an AMOLED display with a trendy water-drop notch design. There is also a placement of the in-display fingerprint scanner for easy unlocking of the device. It also tipped for the Snapdragon 712 processor inside the handset to deliver faster processing and high speed mechanism.
