The 66-year old Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prominent leader and former External Affairs Minister (EAM), Sushma Swaraj, died in Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) hospital due to cardiac arrest. Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted confirming the news. “A glorious chapter in Indian politics comes to an end. India grieves the demise of a remarkable leader who devoted her life to public service and bettering lives of the poor. Sushma Swaraj Ji was one of her kind, who was a source of inspiration for crores of people.” tweeted PM Modi.

BJP leaders like JP Nadda, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu, and many other have arrived in the AIIMS hospital to see Sushma’s mortal remains.
