The Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) has completely become a topic of discussion across the nation in the last few days. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Union home minister, Amit Shah, has a hidden strategic plan for Kashmir which is still unknown to many. The impose of section 144 of CrPC in the Kashmir Valley in the midnight and the same application in Jammu from 6am has led to a frightening situations in the valley. To add to it, more army troops are sent to the valley to curb any kind of mishappenings. The opposition parties sought an answer from PM Modi and Union Home Minister, Amit Shah on the issue. Amit Shah, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh have already arrived in the parliament. The leader of opposition parties, Ghulam Nabi Azad along with other of his Congress party leaders are also present to seek an explanation on Government’s plan in Kashmir. August 5, 4.15pm: One of the founder members of BJP and a senior most BJP leader, LK Advani, expressed his satisfaction on BJP ruled centre’s decision to revoke Article 370 and Article 35A from Kashmir. “Bold step towards strengthening national integration.” he was said as saying by ANI.

August 5, 4.03pm: Chief Minister of Punjab, Capt. Amarinder Singh, expressed his dissatisfaction towards the way the revocation was brought in effect. He said that the resolution should have been discussed with the Kashmiris, there political parties or by taking it through parliament. While speaking this, he said that the very essence of constitution was not respected by the centre.

August 5, 12.15pm: Two Rajya Sabha Members, Mir Fayaz and Nazir Ahmed Laway, belonging to People’s Democratic Party (PDP), tried to tore the copy of Indian Constitution inside Rajya Sabha. The chairman of RS and Vice President of India, Venkaiah Naidu, asked the duo to leave the house immediately after their such unruly behaviour. The duo MPs have also been reported to have torn their kurtas to protest.

August 5, 12.10pm: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) to support the bill revoking Article 370 and Article 35A. “Our party gives complete support. We want that the bill be passed. Our party is not expressing any opposition to Article 370 bill & the other bill.” said Satish Chandra Mishra, BSP MP, quoted ANI.

August 5, 12.01pm: Amit Shah speaks out in Rajya Sabha and said that Jammu & Kashmir to be a Union Territory with legislature while Ladakh without legislature.

August 5, 11.26am: Amit Shah moves the resolution revoking Article 370 from Kashmir. Uproar in the Rajya Sabha after Shah’s this move. He said, “I am ready for all discussions by the leader of opposition, the entire opposition and the members of the ruling party over Kashmir issue. I am ready to answer all questions.” reported ANI.

August 5, 11.08am: Amit Shah is likely to address in Rajya Sabha shortly, followed by his addressing in the Lok Sabha.

August 5, 10.45am: No press briefing after the cabinet meeting which held in the morning at Prime Minister Modi’s residence.
