Know how Indian Army Chief Roared on 20th Anniversary of Kargil War

While addressing the media on the sidelines of the event, Gen. Bipin Rawat said, “Today, we are here to celebrate 20 years of Kargil and Operation Vijay and the Northern Command as well as the 14 Corps have kick-started the celebrations to be held over the next few weeks.“

Are some of the lines from the song titled ‘Tujhe bhulega na tera hindustaan’ which was released by Army Chief General Bipin Rawat on Friday at Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi to mark the 20th anniversary of Kargil war. The song depicts the bravery of our soldiers who fought for the nation and safety of it’s people.

The video also features our Defence Minister and former Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and 5 times world women boxing champion Mary Kom.

“It is an ode to those officers who guided the soldiers to victory at icy heights of Kargil, as rightly depicted in the theme song (video). It was very touching and moving moment for all of us. Let us all celebrate and rejoice the 20 years of the victory,” he said.

When he was asked whether Pakistan can attempt Kargil-like infiltration again, he confidently said, “Pakistan will not dare to infiltrate India again like it did in Kargil in 1999 as it has already suffer the consequences of the same. There is no such area that we have left unguarded. Our surveillance team is keeping a tight watch and regularly patrolling the areas.”

After the Kargil war, the Indian government increased the budget for defence and made it’s system stronger so that when any conflicts arises, it would be capable of defeating it’s enemy by losing handful of resource.
