The Infinix brand has, reportedly, launched another new smartphone, Infinix Note 6, with highlight features like larger display with Stylus support, triple lens rear camera, octa core MediaTek chipset and a 4,000mAh battery. The company could have improved the battery power since it featured a MediaTek chipset over a Snapdragon one. The price of the handset in Uganda is set at UGX 7,50,000 (approx. INR 13,900). The color variants include Aqua Blue, Midnight Black, & Mocha Brown. The date of availability for the Indian and other markets is still unknown, however, it is soon expected to go on sale. The Infinix Note 6 sports a 6.01-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080x2160px, 18:9 aspect ratio, and traditional bezels at the top and the bottom of the smartphone. On the optics front, the Infinix Note 6 sports a triple lens camera module at the rear with a dual-LED flash. The triple lens camera module includes 16-megapixel primary autofocus sensor, 8-megapixel secondary ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixel depth tertiary sensor. The camera setup features AR stickers, AI technology, Google lens, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), Advanced Portrait, etc.

At the front, the smartphone bears a 16-megapixel selfie snapper with an arrangement for an LED flash. The front snapper also features 3D Face Beauty, AI Cam, Beauty, etc.

The smartphone runs XOS 5.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie and is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P35 clocked at up to 2.3GHz, paired with a 4GB RAM and PowerVR GE8320 GPU. In terms of internal storage, the handset comes with 64GB internal memory expandable to up to 128GB using a MicroSD card. It packs a powerful 4,000mAh battery with support to fast charging.

In terms of connectivity, the smartphone features dual 4G VoLTE supported SIM slots, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual band), Bluetooth v5.0 LE, GPS/A-GPS, MicroUSB 2.0, OTG, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack. The sensors onboard include fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, proximity, gyroscope and digital compass. The dimensions of the handset measures 154.2×74.5×7.7mm and weighs 173g.
