The South Korean tech giant, Samsung, is reportedly working on it’s second generation smart watch, Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2. Notably, the company had launched it’s first Samsung Galaxy Watch Active in February 2019 and within a span of 4-5 months, it is working on it’s successor model. Design wise, the leaked report suggests no major design change in the new model.
In a primary sight at the model, it will be difficult to identify the changes. However, some of the noticeable changes include round/circular power/home button while the back button is rectangular. At the rear, the round rim around the heart rate sensor is another big change seen in the model-in-progress. In terms of the other placements, the microphone is placed between the home and back keys. The speaker grille is seen on the other side of the smart watch.
Under the hood, the Galaxy Watch Active 2 is said to refresh the software with the presence of an upgraded version of One UI. In terms of the variants, the smart watch is suggested to come in LTE and WiFi variants. The LTE variant is said to pack a 340mAh inbuilt battery while the WiFi variant may pack a 237mAh battery.
The above information are a part of a leak, which could be a result of speculations, and the final product may differ completely. It is, thus, suggested to wait for the details to be revealed officially by Samsung before believing on any leaked information.
