Huawei Maimang 8 with Water-drop Notch, Full HD+ display, 6GB RAM and Kirin 710 Processor Launched

The Huawei Maimang 8 brings with it a large FHD+ display, triple lens camera at the back, Octa-Core Kirin chipset, 6GB RAM and 3,400mAh battery. The smartphone is said to look identical to the Huawei P Smart+ (2019) except the internal hardware changes. As far as the price is concerned, the Chinese company has set the price of the Huawei Maimang 8 with 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage at CNY 1,899 (approx. INR 19,000).

The Chinese telecommunications and tech giant, Huawei, has launched yet another smartphone, Huawei Maimang 8, in it’s home country China. The company which is currently facing dispute with the USA authorities in a trade war, has still taken a bold step to continue launching it’s products in the market.

The Huawei Maimang 8 dominates the front with it’s 6.2-inch Full-HD+ display with screen resolution of 1080x2340px and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. On the optics front, the handset sports a triple lens camera at the back with an LED flash. The triple lens camera setup comprises 24-megapixel primary sensor, 2-megapixel secondary depth sensor while the third camera bears a 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor. The front sports an 8-megapixel selfie camera inside the water-drop notch and is AI powered.

The Huawei Maimang 8 runs EMUI 9.0 based on Android Pie. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 710 SoC paired with 6GB RAM. The internal storage capacity of the smartphone is limited to 128GB which is further expandable to upto 512GB using a MicroSD card. The device is empowered with a 3,400mAh internal battery with support to fast charging.
