1. Increased risk of Diarrhea

Cabbage consists of many dietary fibers which are essential and good for our stomach. These fibers in cabbage help in smooth excretion of waste from our body. Though eating more of these fiber leads to symptoms of diarrhea or block intenstines. Since the consumption of cabbage may lead you to diarrhea, thus cancer patients are asked to avoid it in their meal.

2. Interferes with Blood Sugar during Surgery

Blood sugar is affected by and interfered by the consumption of Cabbage. If there is a surgery scheduled for you, it is recommended not to intake it as it would affect the sugar level in your body.

3. Deficiency and Thyroid Problem

Heavy consumption of cabbage becomes a nuisance and interferes with thyroid. As cabbage leads to deficiency of iodine in the body, thus creates problem in normal functioning of thyroid.

Moderate consumption of this green vegetable is alright and recommended, whereas heavy dosage is bad for our body. To be on a safer side and to avoid the harms, disease, deficiency caused by Cabbage, it is preffered to limit it’s consumption.
