The Chinese smartphone brand, Asus, released a teaser of it’s upcoming smartphone, Asus ZenFone 6, on Twitter. The teaser threw lights on some of the key features of the smartphone and also teased OnePlus 7 features. In the teaser released by Asus, ZenFone 6 is shown to feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset.
Moreover, the smartphone is also shown to feature 3.5mm audio jack, notification LED, triple card slots made for 2 SIM cards + 1 MicroSD card. The company has tried to put a suspense by introducing a “smart key” on the phone which is speculated to offer Google Assistance.
The Chinese brand was also seen teasing OnePlus for taking away the “essential” features from it’s smartphones. The OnePlus 6T doesn’t offer storage expansion as well as 3.5mm audio jack. The same design is likely to feature in the upcoming OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro smartphones.
In addition to the teaser release, an Asus executive was seen sharing camera details on Instagram. In the details revealed by the executive, it is seen that the ZenFone 6 may sport a dual lens camera module at the back with 48-megapixel primary and 13-megapixel secondary sensor.
The executive shared a photo, speculatively, clicked using an Asus ZenFone 6 which showed some Morse code, which when decoded revealed the camera details. It also hinted at using a 5,000mAh battery.
Asus hasn’t revealed any other information about the smartphone, however, rumours suggest that the ZenFone 6 may sport a notchless 19.5:9 Full HD+ display with screen resolution of 1080x2340pixels. It is said to offer 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage capacity. The complete official details about the smartphone will unfold on May 16 when the smartphone will launch in Spain.
