Bollywood has presented numerous stories to us, from drama to action and romance to comedy, all genres are beautifully showcased. We loved each movie because of the characters introduced in it. Some characters were ordinary, whereas, some were extra-ordinary and made an impact in our lives. The ones with unique and hard hitting personality gave us a great impact on our heart and mind that we still remember them, and can even recall exact dialogues that they delivered.

Some characters were ordinary, whereas, some were extra-ordinary and made an impact in our lives. The ones with unique and hard hitting personality gave us a great impact on our heart and mind that we still remember them, and can even recall exact dialogues that they delivered.  These characters were either in the the protagonist or antagonist role but we still love them all. They made us adore them, left us inspired and determined, some even gave us life lessons in a beautiful way.

1. Mogambo

Amrish Puri portrayed the character of Mogambo which is still remembered by us. This character in the film, Mr. India, is one of the greatest Indian films over time. Mogambo was a brilliant, yet an insane Army general who wished to conquer the world. “Mogambo Khush hua” is the famous dialogue of this character which people today are still familiar with and use it for fun.

2. Chandini

Romantic musical drama film by Yash Chopra starring Sridevi as Chandini in the film ‘Chandini’ in 1998 has left a great impact on people’s mind. She was portrayed as a bundle of passion and romance, danced to mesmerize us. This character still makes us emotional even after so many years. Her elegance and beauty in the movie is still remembered.

3. Vijay Deenanath Chauhan

Agneepath’s fiery and angry protagonist role by Amitabh Bachchan is to be forever remembered by people for his some famous dialogues. His famous dialogue from this film, “Vijay Deenanath Chauhan poora naam, baap ka naam Deenanath Chauhan, maa ka naam Suhasini Chauhan, gaon Mandwa umar chattis saal” is yet remembered by people because of the way Big B delivered this dialogue in a unique and manly tone.

4. Raj and Simran

‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge’ starring Shahrukh Khan and Kajol is one of the most remembered Indian love stories from Bollywood. They are an iconic couple which gave people the meaning of real divine and selfless love. The way they met in ‘sarson ka khet’ is a part almost everyone remembers. This movie never bores people watching it, everytime we experience the same emotion.

5. Munna Bhai

Sanjay Dutt was showcased as Munna bhai in Munna Bhai series. This is one of the most extraordinary characters we saw in the Bollywood movies of all genres. 6. Shashi

Shashi, a character played by Sridevi in the film ‘English Vinglish’ is considered as an inspiration. She portrayed that through determination and hard work, one can achieve whatever they want to. She struggled before but was determined in learning English language, which she did gradually and as a result earned respect.

7. Neerja

Neerja Bhanot is a real and reel life character. This hard hitting character gave goosebumps to people watching the film ‘Neerja’. She was a brave young woman who risked her life and saved people. This was a heartfelt inspiration to many and showcased us the virtue of ‘humanity’. Whether the reel or real character, the ‘Neerja’ character will always be remembered by people.

8. Phunsuk Wangdu

Firstly introduced to us as Ranchhoddas Shyamaldas Chanchad in ‘3 idiots’, Phunsuk Wangdu played by Amir Khan acknowledged people about the peer pressure students face. He enlightened the concept that everyone is running after success madly. The way he showcased to us some points made us remember this character forever.

9. Gabbar Singh

Gabbar Singh from an epic Bollywood movie ‘Sholay’, is a dacoit who had a strange laugh. Some of his dialogues were instant hit and people still recall them due to mix of hindi and Khariboli language from north India. Despite other superstars in the movie, Gabbar gained a huge popularity among people.

10. Chulbul Pandey

Chulbul Pandey, a rough and tough policeman is everyone’s favourite, especially, kids’. People were amazed to see Salman’s style as Chulbul Pandey in the movie ‘Dabbang’. The way he showed his muscles, his stylish and extra ordinary aviators were eye catchy. People remembered Chulbul Pandey for the bravery and witty characteristics he displayed through the movie. His dance steps are still imitated by kids and adults to look the same like Salman Khan.
