Vivo V15 launched with Super AMOLED FullView Display, Face Unlock and MediaTek Helio P70 Processor, Price and Specs to Know

The Vivo V15 Pro is similar in many ways to the Vivo V15 Pro except a couple of modifications in the appearance as well as the internal machinery. The highlight features of the smartphone include the Super AMOLED FHD+ display, 6GB RAM, MediaTek Helio P70 processor, triple lens camera at the back while a Pop up camera for the selfies and Face Unlock feature.

The Chinese subsidiary brand, Vivo, of BBK Electronics, launched a toned down version of the earlier launched Vivo V15 Pro in Thailand recently. The smartphone is similar in many ways to the Vivo V15 Pro except a couple of modifications in the appearance as well as the internal machinery. The highlight features of the smartphone include the Super AMOLED FHD+ display, 6GB RAM, MediaTek Helio P70 processor, triple lens camera at the back while a Pop up camera for the selfies and Face Unlock feature.

The phone seems no different except a few modifications like in it’s processor and the fingerprint scanner placement. The company hasn’t revealed it’s availability in India and other markets but has made the device available in Malaysia and Thailand as of now. Wherein, the price is revealed to be THB 10,999 (Approx. INR 24,500) for the only variant with 6GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage capacity. The color variants include Topaz Blue and Glamour Red. Let’s read the specs of the smartphone

The Vivo V15 dominates the front with a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED Full-HD+ FullView display with screen resolution of 1080x2316px and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display is guarded by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and offers 91.64% screen-to-body ratio.

In terms of the optics, the smartphone sports a triple lens camera at the rear, backed by an LED flash. The ultra highlight feature of the rear camera department is the 48-megapixel primary quad pixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture. While the two other sensors in the triple lens camera module include an 8-megapixel super wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel tertiary depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.

Coming to the front selfie snapper, the device sports a 32-megapixel motorised Pop up camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture and face Unlock feature. The Pop up camera ascends as soon as the selfie mode is called upon. The camera department offers AI tech centric photo enhancement features like AI Body Shaping, face beauty, HDR and other such features.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P70 SoC, paired with 6GB RAM. The device runs FunTouch OS 9 based on Android 9.0 Pie. The inbuilt storage offers 128GB internal memory while it can be expanded to up to 256GB using a MicroSD card.

On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers dual 4G VoLTE SIM slots, WiFi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, FM Radio, MicroUSB with OTG support and 3.5mm Audio Jack. In terms of the sensors onboard, it includes rear mounted fingerprint scanner unlike the in-display fingerprint scanner in the Pro version of the Vivo V15.
