ED is investigating a money laundering case pertaining to Vadra’s purchase of some properties in London using money laundering means, reported news agency PTI. The news agency claimed to have a source from probe agency confirming Vadra was probed by ED under Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) on transactions, purchase as well as possession of immovable property in London. Vadra has been refuting these claims of his involvement in money laundering, terming it as ‘political vendetta’ as he belongs to Gandhi family. However, after a Delhi court granted him interim bail till February 16 last week, he was instructed by the court to join the probe by the investigation agency.
