Salman Khan allegedly Requests to Cut the Sole Tree Outside his Commercial Property, Gets Slammed by Netizens

As per the information shared, BMC Traffic Department, on November 25, 2013, had approved the building parking layout plan which indicates that there were no tree related obstructions found in 2013. On January 7, 2017, Mumbai Fire Brigade gave the No Objection Certificate (NOC) to occupy the building, that is, there were no hindrances in fire related operations too. BMC had also issued an Occupation Certificate (OC) last year, which means there is no hindrance in accessing the building, parking, fire related work, etc. And yet, BMC has accepted the owner’s request to cut down the sole tree.

The civic body had received the application to cut down the tree few months ago and they had approved it. When Ajanta News tried to seek the views of BMC on this, the calls went unanswered. When Ajanta News approached the Public Relations (PR) team of Foodhall, they said, “It’s Salman Khan’s property and we have nothing to do with it, it’s leased by us, whatever is happening is between the owner and BMC, we have nothing to do over it”. Upon asking if there are any hindrances because of the tree in vehicular movement, fire work or parking, as this was allegedly the reason behind seeking the permission to cut the tree, the PR replied, “We can’t comment on it.”
